Bintan Lagoon!

It was such a rushed trip.

We didn’t book the ferry tickets so it was a mad rush of phone calls to the ferry terminal checking if they even had tickets left.

But fortunately they had plenty of tickets left for the 2pm! I guess everyone who’s going that day would have bought the early morning ferry already.

Then I had to change and fly off from work, Karen came to pick me. At least I didn’t have to gan cheong alone.

On the ferry with the entourage. I had laksa on the way there, nearly puked out everything ‘cos it was so choppy. And check out my Dad’s Raybans!

Centre two pictures are the rattan lounge bed at our room’s balcony and overlooking the golf course.

Love the view but hate the insects!

Karen was really excited about the room, it even had a daybed area! The bathroom was marvellous too. I love the room!

We have identical GAP tees! We specially brought it to Bintan to wear it together. Wahahaha. Love the colours in the photos! So vibrant!

And see the uncle and auntie sitting in the shade with the Sheng Siong plastic bag. Extremely unglam.

bintanpage4

The sand.. I love the sand! And the pool!

Dinner at Kelong Restaurant at Nirwana Gardens. Overpriced! Everything there is overpriced!

Next day, we booked our massage session at Aura Spa at Pasar Oleh Oleh! Woke up bright and early to swim but the blody pool only opened at 8am! So we barely had enough time to wet our suits! Bah!

Breakfast wasn’t very good either ‘cos we ate in such a rush.

The only good thing was we got a free breakfast for one of us. :P Hee hee.

Some photos taken at the beach early in the morning. Centrepiece has been digitally enhanced to add Karen into the picture.

It was such a pain trying to take jumpshots.

Add to that, self-timer jumpshots. Double the agony.

bintanpage8

We played jetski and banan boat! Oh my, the banana boat was a nightmare! That idiot toppled us into the sea! Holy crap! I was so annoyed.

And in that instant that I hit the waters, I suddenly thought of the dragonboaters in Vietnam…

bintanpage9

I realise the photos are all very jumbled up, reason being, I ripped some photos from Karen’s Facebook album after I’ve organised my own photos. Bah.

Oh wells, the mandatory writings in the sand.

I like the batik sarong in the first picture! So nice!

I am contemplating buying a kebaya. Heh heh.

Ok that’s all for Bintan. I took nearly 2 hours to do this. Meh.

Alrights, I’m off.
